We’re building the UK funding-readiness platform accountants can trust.
Claima helps accountants and SME founders understand funding fit, trace each opportunity to its source, and build reusable evidence — without pretending funding decisions are simple.
UK funding is available. Interpreting it safely is the hard part.
UK funding is plentiful, fragmented, undated, and unverifiable. Eligibility hides in PDFs the founder will not read. Most “AI grant tools” surface schemes without showing where the answer came from — leaving the accountant to defend an unverified claim in front of a client.
Claima exists to make UK funding interpretable: source-traced, cautiously labelled, and accountable to the accountant who advises the SME.
Source truth first. Fit signals second. Evidence before drafting.
We read named UK funding sources on a regular schedule — Find a Grant, Innovate UK Funding Service, and regional agencies — and structure every scheme we encounter.
We surface where a client appears to meet criteria, with cautious state labels. We do not say you qualify; funders decide. The platform helps the accountant explain the fit.
We capture the supporting evidence — invoices, project notes, headcount snapshots, prior award letters — in one structured file the accountant can stand behind.
On the roadmap · Drafting is on the roadmap. It is not part of v1.
The principles behind Claima
Source truth before scale
We do not surface schemes our source taxonomy cannot verify, and coverage grows on a published schedule — not a marketing schedule.
Fit signals, not funding decisions
We surface where a client appears to meet criteria, with cautious state labels — we do not say you qualify; funders decide.
Evidence before drafting
We capture the evidence that supports a signal before any drafting capability; drafting is on the roadmap, not in v1.
Accountant trust over growth hacks
We optimise for the accountant being able to stand behind what we produce, not for sign-up volume.
Human review where judgement matters
Eligibility, fit interpretation, and evidence sufficiency are accountant-led; Claima does not replace judgement.
No outcome-based pricing
We do not price on funding success — the platform's value is the readiness work, not the funder's decision.
No “every UK grant” claim
We say what we read; we do not claim completeness, and awarded-project intelligence (UKRI Gateway to Research) is fenced as research intelligence, never live application funding.
What we will never claim
- We will not say you qualify; funders decide.
- We will not claim every UK grant.
- We will not show awarded-project intelligence as live funding.
- We will not hide when evidence is missing.
- We will not price on grant success.
- We will not pretend AI replaces accountant judgement.
- We will not treat drafting as v1 if it is not live.
Built around the accountant relationship
Claima is built around the accountant’s reputational risk, not a sign-up metric. Every fit signal carries one of seven state labels accountants already use. Every claim has a source citation and a date.
Customer-facing exports are not in v1. The accountant decides what to share with the client.
We are inviting a small number of UK-qualified accountants to review Claima before any public pilot. No partner programme is live.
Founder-led, private beta, deliberately narrow
Claima is run by a Founder accountable for the product, the positioning, and the cautious-claim discipline you see on this page.

Private beta means narrow on purpose
Claima is in private beta. We are working with a small, curated cohort of accountants and SME founders before any general availability.
There is no public pricing. The Founder is in direct contact with every cohort member. Access is by invitation.
